The folks at Netpop just released a great report studying social networks and the people who use them. Not only do we know that online social networking is skyrocketing, but this also shows that communicating is become the primary use for social networking (this doesn’t surprise me, Facebook is my most useful online communication tool). The report also breaks down some of the differences between MySpace and Facebook.
