Starting a Movement

Major social and political movements took place long before social networking sites existed, even well before the internet.  But try to start a movement for a cause you believe in today without using Facebook.  It can still happen, but it will take a lot longer and a lot more work than if you did incorporate social networking sites.  Where to start can be a big question though.  That’s why the folks at Howcast put together this video to help you out:

 

Of course that’s just an overview.  Hashing out all the details will still take some work, but networking sites like Facebook and others aren’t magic sites that do your work for you.  They just help you do it more effectively and faster.
